ABOUT THE SERIES

In 5 short years, Kyza Presents has grown from an idea into the ‘go-to’ Event Management company in Esperance and the surrounding region through the tireless efforts of local musician, Kyron Smithson – lead singer of 2018 WAMAwards nominated act Grand Casual.

When Kyron and his band Grand Casual earnt the nomination for Best Regional Act alongside four brilliant artists comprising of Tracey Barnett, Blue Child Collective, Kris Nelson and Tanya Ransom, he couldn’t help but imagine how fantastic an event would look with all regional nominees on one line up.

On touching base with the above artists, he realised quite quickly that getting everyone to Esperance for one weekend would be difficult, coinciding touring schedules was a tricky beast. The idea evolved with the new goal being to have each act perform in Esperance over a series of linked events, accompanied by local Esperance acts, with workshops offered by the touring musicians aimed at local professional development.
