Central Institute of Technology lead the way in creating industry professionals, and their Diploma and Advanced Diploma students of Music Business are proud to present a wide range of super fine local music events throughout June/July showcasing both the local talented artists, and the new future of WA’s music industry leaders. Events include:

Wednesday 1 July @ Flyrite (Northbridge)
Pulse-Width Promotions and InstaBar presents a one night only event with an epic fusion of house/experimental electronic producers and live artists.
Influenced by the 1997 Australian cult classic claymation Plasmo, this event showcases some of Perth’s finest up and coming producers headlined by Palace with support from Zorbs, Leafy Suburbs, Ben Taaffe and Atripat.

Thursday 9 July @ Mojo’s Bar (Fremantle)
An event dedicated to promoting the awareness of  mental health through the power of music, aiming to help remove the stigma attached to mental illness throughout the wider community. Supported by BeyondBlue and Music Feedback, the night will be an abundance of good vibes through the performances of local acts Mossy Fogg, Tashi, Riley Pearce, Helen Shanahan and headliner Morgan Bain.

Saturday 13 June @ Perth City Farm  (East Perth)
A night of rock and roll and cabaret, Rockin Cirq is bound to be quite the party, with everything from rock and rollers The Caballaeros to the street brass band Junkadelic and surf-rockers Thee Gold Blooms, alongside circus performers, go-go dancers and more! All bought together by the ringmaster Magnus Danger Magnus. Don’t miss this unique experience in all its carni-freak glory.

Thursday 11 June @ The Good Shepherd (Leederville)
A showcase of Perth latest up-and-comers, Little Sound is also presented by the students of the Advanced Diploma of Music Business of CIT. A ‘mini’ music conference where the featured acts are also managed by said students, including Xanthea, Riley Pearce, The Drools, Great Gable and The Braves. Industry panels will allow unique insight into the industry, with the first being ‘How To Get Bookedhappening this coming Thursday featuring Luke Rinaldi (Rosemount Hotel, Railway Hotel), Hayley-Jane Ayres (Mojos, 459 Bar), Jake Snell (Amplifier/Capitol, Civic, Metropolis Fremantle, Monster Management & Touring Manager of Tired Lion, METHYL ETHEL) and a festival agent TBC.
