Awards, Events

Electronic Music Conference (EMC) has announced that it will take place from Monday November 28 to Friday December 2, 2016. This 5th edition of the event is expected to be the biggest yet. Founded by Junkee Media in 2012, EMC is Asia Pacific’s largest industry event for electronic music. The 2015 edition of the conference featured over 180 speakers across over 40 keynotes, panels and masterclasses; and over 25 performances from Australia’s leading emerging artists in electronic music. This year, organisers are anticipating over 2,000 Australian and international visitors at the Ivy Complex in Sydney.

In 2016, EMC is excited to announce the addition of the annual inthemix Awards to the jam-packed week of EMC activities, and the music industry’s annual charity 5-a-side football tournament, Musica Copa, cementing this as a not-to-be-missed time for the local and international industry to be in Sydney.

The 2016 EMC program will also have new sessions, initiatives, extended networking events and programs (TBA) which highlight, discuss and celebrate the innovations and successes of electronic music in 2016 and beyond.
