C.I.T. enrollments closing soon, including essential Music Business courses!

28 Nov

The Central Institute of Technology is currently taking enrollments for a range of vital courses to get you ahead in music-related fields, including next year’s Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Music Business courses.

Central’s music qualifications have a fine heritage of helping students reach their goals in the music industry. Since 1996 Central’s music graduates have gone on to form bands such as Birds of Tokyo and work with bands such as Gyroscope, Karnivool, Downsyde, Eskimo Joe, The Panics, The Panda Band, The Sleepy Jackson and Little Birdy while many others have found employment with international touring bands, music festivals, music magazines, record labels, music publishers, recording studios, live venues and radio stations.

Central offers its music courses in state of the art recording studios and even has its own performance venue complete with lighting and sound facilities, so when you learn at Central you’ll be getting practical and hands-on skills. Central’s lecturers are prominent WA music industry figures. Through their years of experience you will gain an insight into all aspects of the music industry and can take advantage of their networks with other industry figures.

The music business pathway will provide you with the skills to develop current music industry practices including: event promotion, artist management, record label operations and music publishing. Your Advanced Diploma of Music Business will provide you with the most elaborate and complex skills as well as providing the opportunity to network with professionals already immersed in the music industry.
