Chamber of Arts and Culture: #ArtsImprovesLives Campaign

22 Feb

The #ArtsImprovesLives campaign is run by The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA (CACWA) to highlight the importance and positive impact The Arts has on people and the community (music included, of course!). Showing to the state’s election candidates that Arts policies are a must for the community and the people of Western Australia.

As the 2017 State election campaign enters its final three weeks, CACWA are stepping up their #ArtsImprovesLives campaign on behalf of the arts and culture sector. As a means to remedy the lack of arts policies present at the 2013 election the CACWA have been working hard to make sure the sector’s concerns and priorities are heard at the 2017 election, by politicians, political candidates, media and the  community.

Having launched the organisation’s first Policy Platform, CACWA have been encouraging everyone to get in contact with their local candidates, sharing members’ stories that demonstrate that ARTS IMPROVE LIVES. To ensure this campaign gets over the line they are needing further funding support from members and supporters alike.

Successful advocacy is dependent on a number of people and organisations working together for a cause. To find out more about this cause, where you can also donate to help the cause…
