Canadian Music Week – APRA AMCOS Songhubs Opportunity

APRA AMCOS Songhubs are offering APRA members the chance to have costs of flights and accommodation covered, as well as receive a daily per diem, for Canadian Music Week.

The offer is being extended to the following APRA members:

2x Fully funded APRA members residing outside of Canada
SongHubs will cover costs of:
•    Return economy flights to Toronto, Canada from any capital city in the world
•    Accommodation for 7x nights in Toronto, Canada (equivalent 4 star)
•    Daily Per Diem $70AU for each of the participants (7x days)

4x Artists performing/attending Canadian Music Week (no flights provided)
SongHubs will cover costs of:
•    Accommodation for 7x nights in Toronto, Canada (equivalent 4 star)
•    Daily Per Diem $70AU for each of the participants (7x days)


Songwriters and composers eligible for consideration will have demonstrated:
•    Commercial success within the past 2 years
•    Keenness to collaborate with other established and high profile international songwriters and producers
•    Funded recordings schedules for release within the 12 months preceding the SongHubs event
•    Genre suitability for the specific SongHubs event and intended international market
•    Writing or producing for an international artist release (if the writer is not a performing artist)

Submissions close 5pm (AEDT) Thursday 2nd April 2015
All submissions will be evaluated by Curator Gavin Brown
Successful applicants will be advised by Monday 13th April 2015

Submissions to include
1.    Short summary bio
2.    Recent release activity (covering previous 2 years)
3.    Links to 3 co-written/produced works (released in the past 2 years)
No attachments please – streaming links, or YouTube clips only

Important Notice: Writers are only permitted to be selected for a SongHubs twice in an 18 month period (one overseas and one local)
