Beaufort St. Festival – Join the Programming Committee

4 May

Are you an avid fan of culture and the arts? Do you want to be heavily involved in community focused and driven event? Are you interested in playing a critical role in one of Perth’s largest Festivals?
If so, the Beaufort Street Festival is on the lookout for committed volunteers to join its newly formed Programming Committee for 2015.

Overseeing the curation of all arts, family and community programming, the programming committee will play a key role in the research, planning and development of creative concepts for this year’s Festival. The committee will meet on a fortnightly basis commencing in the coming weeks until Festival day in November.
Individuals with an interest and/or experience in event and arts management or community development and engagement are encouraged to apply.

To apply, please send a short email explaining your interest to Aaron Rutter, Festival Director, via [email protected]. Additional short term and on-the-day volunteering opportunities will open up closer to the Festival and announced via the official Facebook Page and website.

A reminder that a community consultation meeting is being held tonight, Monday 4 May, to allow members of the public to contribute to an open discussion of the Festival. The meeting will commence at 6pm in the Function Room at the City of Vincent
(244 Vincent Street, Leederville) and will give attendees an opportunity to provide feedback on previous Festivals and put forward suggestions for 2015.
