WA musicians win big at 2019 Art Music Awards
This month the 2019 Art Music Awards were held at The University of Sydney, and our incredible talent did us proud! The night saw the West Australian Symphony Orchestra take out the Award for Excellence in Music Education and Daniel Susjnar win WA Jazz Work of the Year for Onward And Upward. You can see the full list of winners here. 

Jebediah to headline anniversary concert
Queensland’s beloved venue The Triffid is turning 5, and to celebrate, Jebediah will be heading East to team up with You Am I for a killer show! With support from Shifting Sands and Team Utopia, it’s not to be missed.  Jebediah will take The Triffid stage on November 14th. More details here.

Troye Sivan set to perform free hometown gig
Perth boy turned global megastar, Troye Sivan, has announced a one-off intimate gig in his hometown before kicking off his Australian leg of the Bloom world tour. And to make it even sweeter – it’s free! Get your tickets and head to Aloft Perth on September 15th for what is sure to be a magical evening. More info here.

WAMFest and WAMCon announced!
WAM is excited to reveal that WAMFest and WAMCon are back for 2019 and better than ever! One of the world’s largest celebrations of local original music, WAMFest, returns on Friday November 1st – Saturday November 2nd for another multi-day feast of non-stop original music across Perth and Northbridge. Returning to its home at the State Theatre of Western Australia on the 1st and 2nd November 2019, WAMCon continues its focus to deliver West Australian Artists and Industry accessible opportunities to learn, engage and interact with the broader music sector. Rhubarb Jam Fest set for next month
To celebrate the release of ‘Rhubarb Jam Batch 4′, Rhubarb Records are bringing together some of the best bands and artists to have been featured on their vinyl compilations. Head to the Rosemount Hotel on September 21st to check out the killer lineup including Yomi Ship, Tanaya Harper, The Limbs, Black Stone from the Sun and so many more! Event info here.
