ACMF’s national songwriting competition opens for students

The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) are holding their annual song writing competition. Students from every school in Australia are encouraged to enter for a chance to win a share of over $20,000 in musical equipment and tuition.

The National Song Writing Competition is divided into several categories providing opportunities for children of all ages, from kindergarten to year 12. Students can enter individually, with friends or teachers could make a class or grade initiative and have a whole group involved!

All entries to be submitted no later than Wednesday 21 October. Each song entered must be signed by a parent or guardian. Song recordings must be submitted in MP3 format only and each entry must be labelled with the composer’s name, song title, grade and school.
