Up In The AiR – Grants Program

The AiR Grants Program is delivered in WA by the DCA and Department of Education in partnership with the Australia Council, to deliver project funding to support artists-in-residence activity in public schools and universities. The Stream 1 funding round is now open; applications close 5pm Friday 19 September 2014.

Up to six grants of $30,000 are available this year. To be eligible for funding, a public school must partner with professional artists and/or arts and cultural organisations with at least three years-experience. The artist(s) must be in residence in a school for a minimum of 150 contact hours. Interested teachers, artists or arts and cultural organisations seeking further information can attend briefings scheduled in May and June.
