AAM Mentor Program – Applications Now Open

The Association of Artist Managers (AAM) are pleased to announce that applications for the 2015 Manager Mentor Program are now open, with 6 opportunities available.

Successful applicants receive one-on-one mentoring with an established high-profile artist manager for a period of 6-12 months and an all-inclusive trip to BIGSOUND in September 2015 (flights, accommodation and Conference Pass) for an exclusive round table opportunity with all of the Mentors involved in the program.

Managers who have one or more artists that meet the following selection criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Artist has a team behind them – booking agent, distribution, publicity, record label (all or some of these)
  • Artist has rotation on radio
  • Artist has headlined a show with a minimum capacity of 300

In previous years the program has boasted high profile Mentors, including Gregg Donovan (Grinspoon, Josh Pyke, Airbourne, Boy & Bear, Montaigne), Danny Rogers (Gotye, The Temper Trap, Chvrches, Laneway Festival), Cathy Oates (Lisa Mitchell, MT WARNING) and Greg Carey (Cloud Control, Andy Bull, The Rubens, Urthboy, Winterbourne).

Applicants need to be AAM members. Applications Close 31st May and successful applicants will be notified by 30 June.
