2016 WA Country Music Awards entries open

Calling ALL WA country music artists looking to further their careers in the music industry, jump onto the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook’s website and enter the prestigious 2016 WA Country Music Awards presented by LiveLighter. With over $8,000 in cash and prizes, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

With something for everyone, categories include Best Group, Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Independent Single, Best Independent Album, Best Video Clip, Best Songwriter, Best Emerging Artist and Best Junior Vocalist.

Entries close at 5pm Wednesday 30 September 2015, the finalists will be announced for all categories by the end of December 2015. The winners will be revealed on the evening of Friday 19 February at the 2016 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival where the finalists of the Best Junior Vocalist and Best Emerging New Talent will be invited to showcase their talents on the main stage, followed with performances by the Winners of Best Male and Best Female artists.

For those considering entering, it is worth reminding you that by doing so you have the unique opportunity to showcase your music and talents to their panel of expert judges, who herald from all over this nation, and have vast amounts of experience relevant to the country music industry.
